The “Innovative Psychology Methods to Solve Mental Health Issues in Rhythmic Gymnastics” (IPSMRJ) project is a 24-month initiative aimed at addressing mental health challenges faced by rhythmic gymnasts due to performance pressures and strict dietary requirements. The project brings together four organizations from Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, and Ireland to implement innovative psychological and educational methods. The project strives to protect athletes’ mental well-being, foster teamwork, and establish best practices for coaches and psychologists.

Objectives

  1. Capacity Building: Enhance the ability of sports clubs to prevent and address mental health challenges in young rhythmic gymnasts.
  2. Collaboration: Strengthen international cooperation among four organizations from different EU Member States.
  3. Educational Tools: Develop and disseminate innovative educational resources for coaches and psychologists to address mental health issues effectively.
