Welcome to Champions Factory
Champions Factory International is having a tangible impact on young people and at-risk individuals through sports-based programmes. Our innovative “Education through Sport” and “The Path of Solutions” methodologies provide young people with opportunities to enhance their leadership skills, learn important values, and participate in both national and international sports activities. To date, we have helped over 100 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and served over 1680 students through our consortium of sports schools. Additionally, the “Champions Academy” programme develops leadership and communication skills, while the “Women Empowerment through Sport” project has empowered over 600 disadvantaged young women worldwide. These efforts have boosted physical activity and empowerment among young people and those at risk.
Champions Factory empowers persons with disabilities through sports-based initiatives and programmes. The "Social Inclusion of Hearing Impaired Youth Through Sport" project supported 120 hearing-impaired individuals. The "Social Care for Physical Improvement" project involved 20 adult learners who increased their capacity to work with disabled adults. The “Dual-Track Careers for Para-Athletes” training course developed the capacity of over 100 former athletes with a disability. Our adaptive sports programmes, integrated sports teams, and specialised equipment and training provide opportunities for disabled individuals to participate in sports and build relationships, leading to a more inclusive and empowered community. We provide disabled individuals with opportunities to participate in sports and build meaningful relationships. The result is a more inclusive, accepting, and empowered community, demonstrating the transformative power of sports in creating a more equitable world.

At Champions Factory, we have successfully implemented several initiatives aimed at promoting the inclusion of migrants and social minorities through sports and entrepreneurship. With the "Sport for Sustainable Development" project, we brought together 30 young people from 9 different countries to develop their skills in using sport as a tool for promoting sustainable development. The "A Story of Europe" project empowered 30 youth migrant NEETs through a combination of digital storytelling, sport entrepreneurship, and personal branding. The "Migrant in Fashion" project trained existing female migrant entrepreneurs in fashion as mentors for prospective female migrants in the fashion sector. The "reCREATE healthy narratives to tackle fake news" project engaged young people to create original and different narratives about migration, raising awareness and countering misinformation. Our projects and initiatives have not only achieved their goals, but also provided practical reference materials and web platforms to the wider community of youth operators and stakeholders.
Champions Factory's efforts in empowering youth and women through entrepreneurship and skills training have produced tangible results. In the "Entrepreneurial Lab", 42 young people from 5 different countries were equipped with entrepreneurial skills and mindset, leading them to empower others in their communities. The "Creativity and Sport: The Steps that Lead to Employment" project reached over 100 youth workers and raised their level of knowledge. Through "Social Entrepreneurship Seeds" and "Youth Power in Entrepreneurship," we have been successful in reducing youth unemployment, promoting social entrepreneurship, and comparing European practices, impacting over 500 young people and low-skilled adults across Europe. These initiatives have led to increased employability and are a driving force for social and economic change in beneficiary communities.
Champions Factory has been actively promoting environmental sustainability through sports initiatives and programmes. Our "Green Education Through Sports (GETS)" project has trained over 450 individuals, who serve as promoters and agents of sustainable sporting events. The "Green Sports Games" and the “Sports for Green Future” project educated and engaged young people on the importance of environmental protection. Our research on the best practices for organising sustainable sporting events has established a decalogue of good practices. Through these initiatives, we have raised awareness in Europe of the role that sports can play in promoting environmental sustainability. Our efforts have contributed to promoting a cleaner and safer environment and we are dedicated to continuing this work in the future.
Our impact on promoting ethical participation in sports has been substantial through projects such as the WomanUp Project, "NOTHING LESS THAN AN ATHLETE" (HEAL), Gender Equality FORCE (GE FORCE), BULLDOG, ISports, Sports Education Against Radicalisation (SPEAR), and "Stop Doping – Swim Fair!". These initiatives aimed to promote equal practices and inclusion in sports, challenge gender stereotypes, empower women, prevent bullying, discrimination, and intolerance in team sports, protect young athletes from sexual harassment, prevent radicalisation in sports, and raise awareness of doping use in the swimming world. With the participation of organisations from across the globe the impact has been felt across different countries and we are proud to have contributed to a more ethical and inclusive sports community.
